Gastromil is a supplement based on Magnesium Carbonate and Calcium Carbonate.

Dyspepsia is a term of Greek origin that literally means poor digestion. It is defined as “pain or discomfort centred in the upper abdomen". The discomfort mentioned refers to early satiety, fullness, distension, and nausea.

In gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach contents, including acid and bile, return from the stomach to the oesophagus, causing inflammation in the oesophagus and pain in the lower chest. In other words, excess stomach acid can reflux into the oesophagus and cause inflammation, pain, and heartburn.

Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes.

Como Tomar

Suck 1 lozenge slowly after meals and before bed.
If necessary, you can suck up to a maximum of 4 lozenges per day.

Avisos

Do not use during pregnancy and lactation. It is not recommended in case of hypercalcaemia (high levels of calcium in the blood). Individuals suffering from kidney failure should not take Gastromil for prolonged periods of time. Magnesium salts can have a laxative effect. The alkalisation of gastric contents may alter the absorption of some medicines, such as tetracyclines and quinolones (antibiotics). This interaction can be minimised by allowing a 2-hour interval between the administration of Gastromil and the other medicine. Confirm the information on the product label/box, as the information provided may change according to the batch.
